Cast iron cookware is the best

I much prefer cast iron cookware. I like cast iron for several reasons. It is solid and will last practically forever. I don't have to worry about the non stick surface material leaching into the food as it ages. And it can still be found well made in the U.S.A. I'm enthusiastic about the U.S. way of manufacturing. One drawback is that these pans need regular seasoning, but the good news is that it's not hard to do in an oven. Check out  How to season cast iron cookware to maintain a non stick surface.
