How to make a single super great waffle by measuring ingredients by weight

I decided to make a waffle this morning.  I have a very good waffle recipe out of a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. But the recipe is for three nine- inch Waffles. But I only want one waffle. Have you ever tried to divide 1 3/4 cups of flour or 1 tbsp of baking powder by three? It's misery. Dividing by weight is so much easier.
Here is the original ingredient list in the recipe:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 egg yolks
1  3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 egg whites

Here it is in grams
254g flour
10g baking powder
36g egg yolk
423g milk
121g cooking oil
70g  egg white

Here it is divided by three in grams
85g flour
4g baking powder
12g egg yolk  (.66 of one egg yolk)   here I just used 1 egg yolk
141g milk
40g cooking oil
23.1 g  (.66 of one egg white) here I used 1 egg white

Now just weigh it up on the kitchen scale. Put a larger (9 inch) mixing bowl on the scale and weigh the flour and baking powder. Mix and remove from the scale. Put a smaller bowl (1 qt) on the scale and weigh in correct amounts of  egg yolk (I just used one), milk, and oil. Mix and remove from scale.  Add the small bowl into the large and mix. Rinse the small bowl and whip the egg whites till peaks form. Add the whites to the mixture.
Now granted the .66 of and egg is bit ridiculous to weigh, so I just used 1 white and yolk. The point is, with weight it is so much easier to get just the batch or serving that you want. It came out great with no leftovers.
These waffles are so good, they can be enjoyed with no toppings, but with pure maple syrup...Oh my!
